With the decision of the Council of Higher Education 19.01.2011 dated and 606 numbered was deemed appropriate to open the Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition in Faculty of Agriculture.

Mission

Mission of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition Department; to carry out researches, to solve the problems of the country and the region related, to soil and agricultural production and train specialist Agricultural Engineers equipped with modern knowledge.

Vision

Soil Science and Plant Nutrition Department will provide critical leadership in current and emerging problems related to plant nutrition problems, environmental management, sustainable agriculture, and land use practices in urban and rural areas. In the department, very important tasks on soil and plant nutrition will be addressed through teaching, research and outreach programs.
