General Information

2 professors and 2 Assistant Professors work in our department, which was established with the decision of the Executive Board of the Higher Education Council within the body of Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Agriculture dated 16.04.2014 and numbered 23857. Necessary studies are carried out for the opening of a master's program within the scope of the Institute of Science, Food Engineering Department Program.

Food engineering, design, establishment, operation of processes of processing foodstuffs / raw materials in general, production optimization, development of new products, quality control, preservation methods and prolonging shelf life, increasing additives, increasing healthy food types and ensuring quality and reliability in food production is an engineering branch that deals with the development and development. Food engineers; They work in various public institutions and in all branches of the food industry.

Vision

Having scientific knowledge, experience, technical skills and research skills, able to follow scientific and technological developments in the field of Food Engineering; To contribute to the development of our country by training the staff needed by the food industry for quality and safe food production and to be an effective education and research unit at the national / international level.

To raise students who can benefit the development of the food industry with their professional knowledge, analyze problems, bring scientific solutions, develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to their field at national / international level with their unique findings.
